If you do not have enough money, resources, or support to stay in Canada without getting assistance from the government, you may be considered financially inadmissible. You can also be declared inadmissible if you do not have enough resources to care for your spouse or dependents.
If you are a foreign national applying to come to Canada to live, work, or study, you must provide information about your finances. This may include savings and any employment offers you already have.
If you are sponsoring a spouse or relative to immigrate to Canada, you must also prove that they are financially admissible.
Laws around financial admissibility do not apply to Protected Persons.
