Are you trying to apply for Authorization to Return to Canada (ARC)? Canada Visa Solutionscan help. Contact us today.

If you left Canada because the government gave you a removal order, you may be banned from returning to the country unless you get an Authorization to Return to Canada (ARC).

Whether you are banned or need an ARC depends on what kind of removal order you received.

If you received a departure order and followed proper procedure when leaving, you do not need an ARC to return. If you overstayed your time or failed to verify your departure with an immigration officer, you will need an ARC.

If you received an exclusion order, followed procedure, and have a Certificate of Departure, you do not need an ARC to return. If you did not follow the procedure or are trying to return to Canada fewer than 12 months after you left, you will need an ARC.

If you received a deportation order, you need an ARC to return to Canada.

Note that applying for an ARC can be difficult. You may be asked why you received a removal order, why you did not leave Canada within the appropriate time, and why you want to return to Canada.
